We do not send unqualified, low quality resumes. Quadrant’s ratio of resumes viewed
by clients prior to placement is approximately 4-5. We gain a detailed face-to-face
brief from you in the first meeting and provide an Assignment Brief to you before
proceeding, so that we have a complete understanding of the role. We regularly conduct
industry research in order to best understand client needs. We often arrange particular
times of the day outside of hours to communicate to our clients on assignment progress
whether it is by telephone to or from work or breakfast meetings.
WE WORK AS A TEAM
By allocating two consultants to each assignment, we ensure we understand our needs.
At our regular meetings all team members are up-dated with current information for
every assignment. This means even if your consultant is busy interviewing, you can
receive immediate information from another team member, should you need it.
WE RESPECT YOUR BUDGET
We will set a fixed or percentage based fee dependant on the level of role and the
search methods employed. We encourage our clients not to undertake print advertising
until all other search avenues are exhausted. Our non-print placement rate is approximately
90%.
WE LISTEN
When our team visits to take details of your assignment or interviews candidates
we take notes and discuss the details to ensure we gain a clear understanding of
your needs.
WE GET BACK TO YOU WHEN WE SAY WE WILL
At Quadrant we have a "next step" policy, this means whenever we have contact with
a client or candidate our last question is "What is the Next Step?" We then let
you know what the next step will be, and when we will be in touch with you, enter
it in our diary and DO IT when we say we will.
WE PLACE MORE EMPHASIS ON FINDING THE "RIGHT" PEOPLE
We use our “Insight Profile” to find how people prefer to interact with those about
them and their environment, this helps to identify the people most likely to “fit”
the culture of the client company. We contact candidates by telephone and conduct
a brief interview to decide if they are suitable for the role. We then meet suitable
candidates face-to-face to gain a full understanding of their needs and career aspirations.
We also use targeted questioning, both in candidate interviewing and reference checking,
to identify the areas of strengths and weaknesses. Again, to help identify the "right
people" and the "right environment" for them.
WE TRY TO FIT IN WITH CLIENT REQUIREMENTS
The best way to build is a relationship is to deal with a client face-to-face, and
we try to discuss candidate details with a client when it suits them. We believe
the brief time we spend with our client discussing the top 3-4 candidates could
save hours of interviewing unsuitable candidates. This is not always possible, and
our Consultant Comments give a concise description of the candidate attributes,
their motivators, and their career aspirations. Clients then have the opportunity
to compare each candidate on a similar basis. The client should then be able to
decide, "which is the best one", not "is there one."
WE FIND THE BEST CANDIDATES IN TALENT SHORT MARKETS
We maintain a potential candidate database of people who are not necessarily looking
for a career change, but have a unique or specialised set of skills and attributes
that would make them valuable in a particular role. We take time to meet quality
candidates in their environment out of respect of their time schedules, enabling
us to qualify good candidates in a shorter timeframe. We continue to develop strong
informal industry networks and alliances with the best business schools to find
the right candidates.
